In the field of automotive safety systems we are enjoying the close cooperation with Autoliv, a world-wide leading supplier of such systems. Our current projects are aiming at alcolocks for vehicle intergration and minimally obtrusive alcohol detection.

Our core competence is in the areas of sensor technology, measurement systems, microsystems, physiological interactions, mechatronic design, and man-machine interfacing. We have a well-equipped laboratory for prototyping, small-scale production and testing. Together with a network of partners, we are capable of managing projects from idea to production.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We are engaged in the development of XPIRA, an alcometer for use in emergency care. Suspicion of alcohol influence in a patient may conceal a life-threatening condition, such as stroke, cardiac infarct, serious trauma. At present we are performing clinical studies on prototypes developed by ourselves. The initial results are very promising.
